Education is the progressive discovery of our ignorance (Durant). Knowledge is expanding at an unprecedented pace. Even if we devote 24 hours for a hundred years, we cannot scratch the surface. We are inhabitants of a small planet orbiting around an average sized star that is at the limits of one of a hundred thousand million galaxies (Hawking). A profound understanding of this microcosmic reality in a macrocosmic universe is fundamental to our growth as human beings. At RIMS, we encourage you to inquire and introspect. We inspire you to imbibe the spirit of inquisitiveness, imagination and innovation. Even as you pursue your dreams and become successful managers or entrepreneurs, you need to be conscious of the large majority of people who are at the bottom of the pyramid. Unless you help your fellow beings to improve the quality of their lives, you cannot build a just and equitable society.
