B.V.Krishnamurthy (popular as BVK)

B.V.Krishnamurthy (popular as BVK) – is the Chief Academic Advisor and Distinguished Professor at RIMS. An expert in the areas of strategy and international business, BVK has been a contributor and reviewer for Harvard Business Review, Harvard Business Online and Harvard Business School Publishing among others. BVK is also known in the academic fraternity for his intricate knowledge and grasp of national and international accreditation and quality systems, standards and processes. Rated by students and peers alike as an outstanding teacher, he has taught at business schools in the USA, Europe and Russia.

Prior to his current assignment, BVK was the Director, Executive Vice-President and ASI Distinguished Professor of Strategy and International Business at Alliance Business Academy, Bangalore.

Dr. Y. Rajaram (Dean)

Professor in Finance, Banking & Insurance. He completed M.Com 1st Rank Gold Medal from Saugar University, Madhya Pradesh in 1972. He did his PhD in Management in 1993 from S.K. University, Ananthapur, A.P. He has obtained L.L.B., from Bangalore University.

He has 37 years of Teaching Experience. He has guided successfully research scholars, leading to the award of PhD from Bangalore University. He is an active researcher and did work by minor and major projects. He presented papers in national and international seminars. He has been resource person on various management topics and visited universities such Mysore, Kuvempu, Bangalore.

He served as Professor in Banking and Insurance for 4 years in MSRIM. He conducted MDPs and FDPs in MSRIM. He served an Academic Consultant in Sikkim Manipal University. He is highly spiritual by his very nature.

Dr. Bangalore Ramanna Dwaraki (Registrar Evaluation)

Dr. B.R. Dwaraki, M.Sc.(Social Anthropology), Ph.D. in Mental Health has put in more than 30 years of experience in the academic field. He has worked in various institutions and at various Levels. He has spent in the USA nearly 3 years on invitation from a US University on Third World Development Issues with special ref. to Transfer of Technology.

He has the distinction of working for 25 long years in Gandhigram Rural University, Tamil Nadu and retired as Professor and HOD. He has held various positions like Professor, HOD, Director of Youth Programmes, Registrar, Principal, and so on. He knows 5 Indian and 2 foreign languages. He has published 30 articles in India, 3 articles internationally. He has also reviewed 1 international, 4 national and 2 regional books. He has also been a Joint Editor of 3 books. He has special interest in linking with NGOs and in spoken English Programmes.

Mr. Sivadas Nambiar (Professor)

Professor in Human Resource Management area. Completed B Com (Hon) from St. Xavier College, Calcutta University and subsequently did PGDBM from XLRI, Jamshedpur. Has 25 Years experience in Industry, has been teaching for the past 6 Years as a Professor.

Dr. (Mrs) Manita D. Shah (Professor)

Dr. Manita D. Shah is a specialized academician in finance and accountancy. Dr. Shah was awarded her Doctorate degree in the year 2002 in the area of corporate finance from Mohanlal Sukhadia University, Rajasthan. Had a distinguished academic career spanning over nearly 11 years at B- schools of national repute.

She evinces strong interest in research and consultancy in the area of corporate financial strategies. She is also an approved research supervisor from Anna University, Coimbatore and guides professionals as well as novices with teaching material and cases drawn from her original research. She has authored a number of research papers in the area of venture capital financing, inventory management etc.

Her areas of academic interest are Corporate Finance, Accounting for managers, Security analysis and portfolio management, Tax planning and management, Managerial economics. She has also been involved in organizing various seminars for students and management development programmes for executives from the industry.

Prof. Anil B. Gowda (Associate Professor)

He has 17 years of experience in Industry and Academics. He is a post graduate – ME (Structural Engg), MCA and MPhil, and has worked as consulting structural design engineer and has managed number of construction projects.

He has executed a number of projects involving designing and construction of multi-storeyed buildings, auditorium building, water retaining structures like swimming pool, OHT, UGT, etc. He has also guided a number of projects at UG and PG level both in Engineering and Management. He has coordinated and organized number of Student and Faculty Development Programs, and also organized number of Workshops for both Students and faculty.

He has been a resource person at national level seminars and workshops. He has a professional membership with Indian Concrete Institute and Indian Society of Technical Education. He has conducted research work in the area of structural engineering and presented a paper in the International Conference.

He has authored books in the area of computer programming and content writer in the area of production and operations management, management information systems and project management. Areas of interest - Quantitative Techniques, Operations Management, Computer Applications and Project Management and operation research.

Dr. Rejimon Thomas ( Professor)

He is Professor and Head Corporate Relations at RIMS (Ramaiah Institute of Management Studies). He was a soldier trainer of the Indian Air Force, is a man with wide ranging experience in teaching, corporate training, talent development and preaching.

Completed his MBA in HR, M. Phil in Management, Doctorate in Leadership, Post Graduate Diploma in Marketing, MS in Counselling and Psychotherapy and Masters in International Business from IIFT, New Delhi. He also completed the executive education in Knowledge Management from IIM, Bangalore and undergone the Management Teachers Training Programme in Strategic Management again from IIM, Bangalore.

He served the Indian Air Force for 20 years at various places and levels in India. The last eight years he is teaching MBA and served as Director MBA and presently working as a Professor and Head Corporate Relations at RIMS (Ramaiah Institute of Management Studies). He has presented many papers in international and national seminars and chaired many technical sessions. Conducted faculty development programme (FDP) for Bangalore University MBA Faculty. Authored a book titled as "Look East - Servant Leadership is the Key to Success Longevity and Sustainability." He has visited more than 15 countries.

Mrs. Julie Sunil (Asst. Professor)

Julie Sunil has over eight years of experience in Industry and Academics. She is currently teaching at Ramaiah Institute of Management Studies in the areas of Marketing apart from being the Asst. Registrar Evaluation for Annamalai University program. She is spearheading the process of Mentoring at the institute and is deeply involved in student development and placement activities.

She has been associated as 'Corporate Trainer' and has conducted training programs in Soft Skills for several IT firms. She has also delivered Personality Development Program for various Management Professional Colleges like Wigan & Leigh College, ICFAI, SRN Adarsh College, MSRIM etc.

Organizations like Regalix (A USA based Integrated Marketing Firm) has benefitted from her creative abilities and knowledge in Marketing where she worked as Channel Head for Online Marketing. She has also been a management consultant to Corporate Objects, a firm dealing in corporate training and development.

She has completed her MBA in Marketing and Foreign Trade from Cochin School of Communication Studies and has also completed Honors Diploma in Systems Management from NIIT, Bhopal.

Mr. A. Aruldoss Vithakan (Asst. Professor)

An M.Phil, MBA (Finance) and PGDBA has a rich industry experience of over 40 years in the areas finance and accounts and an academic experience of 5 years.

He has worked at various positions starting from Jr. Accounts Officer in Seshasayee Industries Ltd (7 years), to the position of Senior Financial Advisor & Head Accounts Division in ISRO (for over 33 years) in areas of project formulation and financial management of major hi-tech projects like Satellite projects, contract negotiations and contract management. He also involved in the inhouse development of Integrated Administrative software covering all areas of Administration, Finance and Procurement & Inventory management for ISRO. On his retirement he worked in ISRO as a 'Consultant' for a year in connection with the implementation of the software.

In the academics he has 5 years teaching experience in all finance, costing & management subjects for Post Graduate students in various institutions. He has held the position of senior faculty member and PG Coordinator.

He has published 2 papers titled "Marketing of Services during Recession", "Global financial crisis- its impact in India"

Mrs. Lissy Mathew (Asst. Professor)

MBA, specialization in International Business from Johnson & Wales Univeristy, Providence, USA, BS in computer science from Rhode Island College, Providence, USA, MA in History from Kerala university and B.Ed from Bharathiar university.

She has more than 6 years experience in retail industry in USA. She is the recipient of "Who is who among American Universities" award in 2002. She has worked as Assistant manager with a leading retail chain, in Providence, USA for more than two years.

She was associated with Rhode Island College as a Research Assistant and was keenly involved in various research activities at the Research center of the college.

Mr. Sreerengan V.R (Asst. Professor)

Prof. Sreerengan VR, is a post graduate in Materials Management and Mercantile Law. He is having total 24 years of industrial and teaching experience. He was in Aviation industry for 18 years and involved in the activities of aviation engineering (aero engines), project co-ordination, technical & quality control, maintenance planning and course & training co-ordination. After taking voluntary retirement from central government service he practiced as an Advocate at District Court centre on Civil and Criminal matters. He was a faculty for Business Law & Materials Management in different Business Schools and he is professionally associated with IIMM & Bar Council.

Dr. Radha (Asst. Professor)

Dr. Radha has a distinguished academic career with a rich teaching experience of 21 years. Her areas of interest are Accounting and HR. She has specialised in teaching finance, cost and management accounting and holds a doctorate on HR topic of “Change Management”. She has guided many post graduate and M.Phil students and has been in the panel for evaluating P.hd. thesis. Dr. Radha has presented many papers in both regional and national seminars. She has been the editor of college news letter and has also served as NAAC coordinator during the accreditation process.

Mr.Murali(Faculty and Placement Training Incharge)

Mr. Murali has a professional B E degree in Mechanical Engineering with an MBA HRM having 12 years of experience in Marketing & Sales that has helped him in understanding the different subjective areas of Machine Tool Industry, IT Training Industry, HR Consultancy, Project Consultancy, Software & Hardware Sales and 7+ years in Teaching, Corporate Relations, Campus Placements, Training, Mentoring and Counselling Students. He strongly practices hard work and possess excellent creative, conceptual and analytical skills, an effective team player with Strong Interpersonal, Management and Communication Skills.

He had been associated as a 'Corporate Trainer' and has conducted training programs in Personality Enhancement & Soft Skills Training for IT & Non IT firms. He has also delivered Skill Enhancement Programs, Pre-Placement Trainings for various Engineering & Management Colleges like BNMIT Engineering College, PES College, BIMS, KLE College, Appa Engineering, Shirdi Sai Engineering College, KNSIT Engineering College, SLN Engineering College etc.,.

He is a Handwriting Analyst who counsels based on student’s personality traits one possesses, he also Trains on Body Language & Neuro-Linguistic Programming. He was Instrumental in starting a NEN (National Entrepreneurship Network) E-cell [Entrepreneurial Development Cell during his tenure at IMTR] which has been appreciated by the both NEN & Management of IMTR. He has conducted NEN E-Leaders Workshop at Colleges in Bangalore.

His area of interest is Entrepreneurship, Marketing, Sales and Human Resource Management.

Mrs. Dilshad D. Jalnawalla (Lecturer)

She has completed her B.Com, MBA(Finance) from Institute of Management and Research, North Maharashtra University, Maharashtra. She has student counseling experience for 2 years at ICFAI National College. She is always ready to take up extension work.

She joined RIMS in 2008 as a lecturer. Presently she is designated as lecturer and Admission Officer. Her area of Interest is Management and Accounting.

Mrs. Vaishnavi Anandavardhan(Faculty)

She has completed her B.E.(Power Electronics), M.B.A.,(specialization in Finance).She is currently handling various specialized and general courses in Finance for M.B.A students. She has done extensive research in the area of Asset Pricing, her areas of interest include Asset pricing, International Finance and Financial Econometrics. She was a visiting Doctoral Research Scholar at Bentley University, U.S.A. and made extensive contribution towards research and teaching. She also taught various courses in Finance at ICFAI, Hyderabad.

Mrs. Nidhi Gupta(Faculty)

Mrs. Nidhi Gupta holds an M.M.S. degree in Systems from Mumbai University. She has a varied corporate experience of around 4.5 years in the field of IT-Finance during which she has worked with esteemed organizations like Deutsche Network Services and National Stock Exchange. As a senior analyst in these firms, she has handled financial software product conceptualisation and launches and also travelled overseas concerning her work. She also has an entrepreneurship experience of around 2 years working on various website development projects and mobile applications. “Family Medical Log”, one of the mobile applications that she co-developed was among the 90 winners of the device phase in the Samsung Global Developer Challenge 2010, an international mobile application contest that saw around 2000 entries in all. She brings to RIMS a wide exposure in various technologies and their practical usage in the field of telecom and finance.

Mr.Moirangthem Momocha Singh(Research Associate)

M.M.Singh (Moirangthem Momocha Singh) is working as Research Associate at RIMS. He has served as Lecturer at East West College of Management, Bangalore and also worked as Trainee Manager at ACS Advisory Service Ltd. Bangalore. He holds MBA specialized in finance, M.Com, PGDMM, pursuing Ph.D in Management. He also holds NCFM certificate. He is a researcher and his work has been published in 1 national Seminar and 2 international conferences and attended Workshops and Faculty Development Program. He has cleared National Eligibility Test popularly known as NET for Lectureship conducted by University Grant Commission, Government of India, New Delhi. His area of interest is Financial Management.

Mr.Saravana Kumar.S (Research Associate)

Mr. Saravana Kumar.S holds an M.Phil in Management and MBA in HR and Marketing. He has a corporate experience of 2 years in the field of Marketing and 1 year of Academic experience. His areas of interest are Marketing and HR. He has also served and experienced as a Placement Co-ordinator, Admission and Research co-ordinator.
