The mission of RIMS is excellence in education. Yet, we are deeply conscious of the aspirations of young people when they enter the portals of RIMS – a career that all stakeholders in general and the students themselves in particular would be proud of.

Career development and facilitation, like everything else at RIMS, is taken very seriously. It starts with every student drawing up a plan and the institution facilitating the realization of the plan. We have a robust and vibrant interface with the corporate world that includes representation on the advisory council, guidance in formulating the curriculum, week-end and special lectures by industry experts, practitioners as adjunct faculty, senior managers assessing the project work and subjecting the students to a viva-voce, industry visits, internships and final placements.

The batch of 2009 – 11 had a 98% record of successful placements with the mean, median, highest and lowest salaries being INR 600000, 590000, 950000 and 450000. Most of the recruiters of 2009 – 11 and new recruiters have confirmed their participation in the recruitment process for the batch of 2010 – 12. Our goal is to strive for a 15% improvement year on year.
